This was one of the paintings that I did for this project I chose just to do the paintings so that way I could get to the biggest prize to go out to eat. Out of the ten I have done this is one of them. I first decided to do a painting that looked like shattered or stained glass. So i laid down the piece of paper and I taped it down then I decided to choose one of my favorite colors. I love the color yellow. I remember thinking that yellow and black look amazing together. So I got out the colors black and yellow. I got a small paintbrush and a bigger paintbrush and a very thin paintbrush. I got out a plate to start my project and I started to squirt out the paint I did not want the colors to mix together so I put them on a different plate. I finally was ready to paint. Then when I had all of my things were ready and set out I had to go grab the tape because if I wanted it to look like shattered or stained glass I had to tape my paper. My paper was already taped to my board and it was taped down I grabbed some tape and started to make geometry shapes like triangles and rectangles and some really odd shapes. I chose to do twelve shapes in all. I started to paint I knew I wanted my shapes to have a equal amount so I had six black shapes ad six yellow shapes. I then had been done with the painting process and I waited until my paint was sticky and almost dry that was when I started to peel the tape off of my paper and some paths were clean and nice straight lines. Some of them had a little paint leak through but it was barely noticeable. I am really proud of this painting.

I really like how you talked about the process to get ready to paint! I also liked how you showed process pictures! Do you have a picture of the final painting? I would really like to see it!

I love the idea of the shattered glass! Try adding on a final product picture just to let everyone see how your painting turned out.

Photo credits! I'm kidding but not entirely because I did take those pictures but I also hate the idea of anything mainstream, anyway. Yours really show what I'm guessing is SCHOOL SPIRIT YeAh. Like my enthusiasm? But I do like the separation of the colors.
